About server

The DateEase server comes in many variants, and this book will  focus on live server for prism 9 that is the same as found in LE9 and DataEase9.  For other server and product that can be used together with server, you might find them mentioned in later chapters, but each of them should also have their own reference book like this.

If you just want to use your development server, just start it in your catalog and skip direct to chapter 2.
